Tucson May be the Perfect Western Town with Big City Amenities
Many things bring home buyers to the southwest, including warm weather, affordable property, beautiful desert scenery, renowned golf courses and endless outdoor activities. Hiking, biking and golfing are among the more popular outdoor activities, however you cannot overlook the popularity of one of the oldest western traditions and an early form of transportation, horseback riding. Tucson equestrian properties provide the perfect desert backdrop and plenty of acreage for the horse lover. But if you need more than western tradition, Tucson, AZ is a large city with everything modern home buyers are looking for. Malls, grocery stores, culture, fine dining and many educational facilities are all part of the Tucson experience.
Horse-friendly Tucson Communities are Found Throughout the City
Although you need more room and land for horses, you can find horse-ready real estate in Tucson right in the heart of the city. North Ranch and Ranchos de La Canada are two examples of horse-friendly communities in northern Tucson. Properties in these communities include amenities such as dining rooms, laundry rooms, great rooms, eat-in kitchens, fireplaces, private spas, covered patio and stucco fencing. Not only are horses allowed in these communities, but some properties already have horse facilities on site.
Tucson Equestrian Properties along the Outskirts Offer Serenity
If you are looking for a little more serenity, equestrian communities just outside of the city offer larger properties, more land and beautiful desert surroundings. In Diamond Bell Ranch Tucson, properties are over an acre with existing horse facilities. Home features include Mexican tiled floors, all appliances, covered patios and mountain views. Copper Quest and Millstone Manor are two other outside communities that welcome both horse owners and their horses. In Millstone Manor, the ranch style properties are on lots over four acres with living rooms, dining rooms, fireplaces and spectacular mountain views.
